The SFT directly supervises Facilities Technicians at the assigned campus, including full staffing authority, manages the campus facilities maintenance budget, and serves as the primary technical escalation resource for all facility issues. This role requires 24/7 on-call availability for campus facility emergencies.

Executes work orders to high standards of quality and timeliness; communicates with school staff and departments to coordinate work order completion and campus event setup.
Leads the execution of the preventive maintenance schedule for all campus building systems; assists with planning and scheduling in coordination with the Regional Facilities Manager.
Conducts regular campus inspections to proactively identify and resolve potential facility issues before they escalate; responds to on-call facility emergencies during and outside operating hours.
Builds and manages relationships with external contractors and service providers, including HVAC, lawn care, pest control, and other trade vendors, ensuring timely, quality completion of contracted work.
Financial & Contractor Management
Manages the campus facilities maintenance budget and associated procurement card, tracking expenditures and ensuring all purchases remain within approved parameters.

Directly supervises Maintenance Technicians at the assigned campus; manages full staffing lifecycle including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, day-to-day direction, performance management, and termination decisions.
Serves as the primary technical escalation resource for complex or unresolved issues beyond the Maintenance Technician team's scope; resolves or coordinates resolution of all escalated campus facility issues.
Participates in professional development and training sessions to maintain current knowledge of facilities maintenance best practices, building systems, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of five years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related trade; high school diploma or equivalent required.
Demonstrated expertise in HVAC, electrical, and/or plumbing systems required; technical knowledge of building systems and repair operations required.
Trade licensure or certification strongly preferred given the building system management and safety compliance scope of this role.
