The teacher will create and implement lesson plans in math while using data to ensure student mastery of academic skills. Responsibilities include managing classrooms, monitoring student progress, and collaborating with families and colleagues to support student achievement.
Candidates must hold a valid NJ teaching certification or meet specific GPA requirements (3.0+ or 2.75+ with Praxis scores). A track record of classroom success and subject matter expertise in high school mathematics are required.

KIPP NJ offers competitive salaries to newly hired lead teachers. Salaries are based on prior experience and in accordance with certification requirements. KIPP NJ offers a competitive salary range of $65,000-$103,000+ for teacher positions with additional opportunities for earning up to $7,000 annually in performance-based pay.
