About the Part Time High School Building Aide Role
As a dedicated High School Building Aide, your primary responsibility is to support the efficient operation of the school by assisting with arrival, dismissal, lunch and various student culture and operational tasks. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of students while maintaining a conducive learning environment.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of students while maintaining a conducive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Arrival, Lunch, and Dismissal Assistance:
Manage the flow of students during arrival, dismissal and lunch times, ensuring orderly transitions.
Assist with traffic control and pedestrian safety around the school premises.
Monitor student behavior and intervene as necessary to maintain discipline and safety.
Operational Support:
Help set up and organize materials and equipment for school activities, events, and assemblies.
Assist with the distribution and collection of educational materials and supplies.
Perform routine tasks such as photocopying, filing, and inventory management to support administrative functions.
Student Supervision and Support:
Provide support and guidance to students as they navigate the school environment.
Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere by promoting respect and cooperation among students.
Safety and Emergency Response:
Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures and protocols, including fire drills and lockdowns.
Respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations, following established protocols and guidelines.
