LOCATION: Keshet School Locations

SUPERVISOR: School Site Administrator

Keshet’s Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) plays a vital role in supporting students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral growth by providing high-quality behavioral services, clinical guidance, and ongoing coaching and supervision. The BCBA is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized behavior intervention and support plans, conducting functional behavior assessments, and analyzing behavioral data to guide evidence-based decision making.

Working collaboratively with teachers, paraprofessionals, families, and the Related Services team, the BCBA helps ensure each student receives comprehensive, individualized support tailored to their unique needs.

In This Role, You Will

Observe students and conduct Functional Behavior Assessments for students who have behavior concerns.
Create and assist school staff with the development of behavior plans, ABA programs, and other appropriate programs for students who present skill deficits (e.g., communication and adaptive behavior) and problem behavior (e.g., aggression, and self-injurious behavior), among other things.
Meet with families, teachers, or administration to discuss the student’s treatment and progress and recommend ways to address behavioral issues.
Provide behavior analysis services and behavior management plans for students who receive special education in a therapeutic learning environment grounded in evidence-based practices. to teach, maintain, or replace certain behaviors.
Collaborate with building and educational leadership to develop and modify BCBA programming as needed.
Direct work with students presenting complex and challenging behaviors (case by case).
Provide professional development for certified and non-certified staff in service delivery, data collection, and general information regarding behavior analysis.
Participate in required and other job-related professional development activities to improve or maintain certification/skills.

QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For

Master’s Degree in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field.
Behavior Analyst licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois.
Must possess certification as a Safety Care Trainer and fulfill all associated training responsibilities.
Minimum 3 years of experience working with students with intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities and behavioral challenges.
Working knowledge of the principals, practices, and ethical standards; relevant state and federal laws, rules, and regulations; and applicable district policies and procedures.
Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
Demonstrate calm leadership in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of Judaics is helpful.
Hold a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds.
Must complete and be competent in required training to receive certification in CPR and Safety Care.
