Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. 

The position is responsible for providing on-site supervision and technical support for all electrical engineering aspects of the project. This includes ensuring compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and contract specifications.

 

We envisage success in this role to include;

• Review and supervise electrical works related to villas and infrastructure projects.
• Ensure all electrical installations are executed in accordance with project specifications, drawings, local authority requirements, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
• Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed within project timelines.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and RFIs.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues related to electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Prepare technical reports and progress updates as required.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include;

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in electrical engineering within construction projects.
• Strong experience in villa, residential, or community development projects is preferred.
• UAE experience is mandatory.
• Familiar with ADDC, Abu Dhabi Municipality, and relevant local authority standards.
• Strong coordination and site supervision skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

 

Experience gained from working on building projects in UAE is being looked for.
