The Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies is the hub for entrepreneurship at the USC Marshall School of Business, equipping students, faculty and staff with the skills, resources and networks for a variety of roles in new and established ventures. Through curriculum, co-curricular programs, research and community building, the Center serves as the front door to entrepreneurial activity across the university.
Founded in 1972 as the first integrated entrepreneurship program at a U.S. business school, the Greif Center is among the oldest and most influential entrepreneurship programs in the world. It offers more than 50 courses across undergraduate and graduate levels, including an undergraduate concentration and minor and two master's degrees: the MS in Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the MS in Social Entrepreneurship. Its co-curricular programs among them the Marshall Greif Incubator, the New Venture Seed Competition, the Blackstone LaunchPad, and the Athena Initiative provide hands-on support for founders at every stage.
The Office Manager provides administrative, budgeting, and operational support to ensure the efficient day-to-day functioning and semester-to-semester planning of the office. This position is in charge of office operations, supervises administrative processes, organizes the scheduling of classes, coordinates office activities, is responsible for overseeing the Greif budget and financial transactions, and serves as a resource for staff, faculty, students, and external partners. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, customer service-focused, is adept at budget and financial management, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the department, including defining policies, schedules, expectations, and standards
Oversee Greif Center’s multiple budgets and expenses and produce timely financial reports for the Director.
Schedule classes and faculty each semester.
Onboard student workers as well as new faculty and staff.
Collaborate with other office managers and staff across Marshall to ensure effective integration with school-level workflows and communications.
Coordinate office workflows and administrative processes to improve efficiency.
Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
Schedule meetings, events, and departmental activities.
Maintain office records, files, and confidential information.
Process purchasing requests, invoices, reimbursements, and other financial transactions in accordance with institutional policies.
Monitor office supplies and coordinate purchasing and inventory.
Organize hiring activities, onboarding, and administrative personnel processes.
Coordinate travel arrangements and process travel reimbursements.
Prepare reports, correspondence, presentations, and other business documents.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three or more years of progressively responsible administrative or office management experience.
Three or more years of progressive experience with purchasing, budgeting, or financial reconciliation
Experience coordinating multiple projects and competing priorities.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and standard office technology.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Experience in higher education, healthcare, or a professional office environment.
Experience with purchasing, budgeting, or financial reconciliation.
Supervisory or lead work experience.
Experience with enterprise systems such as Workday, PeopleSoft, Banner, or similar business applications.

Anticipated Hiring Range:
The salary range for this position is $71,617.82 - $92,163.44.
