Director of Marketing

KCC is the innovation leader in catastrophe risk modeling, and the KCC team has delivered to the market highly advanced and accurate models. KCC has a well-earned reputation for high value innovative applications, and we currently serve a blue-chip client base of industry leading insurers, reinsurers, and ILS investors. We are seeking a Director of Marketing to expand our messaging and our footprint globally.

From our headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts, we provide advanced models, innovative software, and comprehensive consulting services to (re)insurance company executives nationwide. These services enhance business strategies, and the financial results put our clients at a competitive advantage. Expected Salary Range: $130,000-$140,000

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute marketing campaigns around the KCC advanced models and applications
  • Work closely with product, business development, and subject matter experts to understand advanced technical features and communicate their market relevance
  • Publicize the KCC modeling innovations through thought leadership pieces, white papers, and other industry outreach
  • Interact with industry trade groups and identify opportunities for demonstrating the KCC innovations and benefits to the market
  • Build and execute a social media strategy that expands KCC’s digital reach and reinforces its position as an industry leader

Qualifications

  • Business and/or marketing degree—MBA preferred
  • 5-6 years of marketing experience
  • 2+ years experience marketing complex, high-value B2B software products, ideally including analytics, modeling, or decision-support platforms sold through consultative sales processes
  • Proven track record of successful marketing campaigns
  • Demonstrated ability to translate highly technical product capabilities into clear, compelling business value propositions for executive and specialist audiences
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of the property insurance industry a plus
