The technician will operate and monitor water treatment equipment while performing routine maintenance and repairs on distribution systems. They are also responsible for collecting water-quality samples and maintaining accurate operational records.
Candidates should possess strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic equipment repairs. A valid driver's license is required, and the ability to obtain ADEQ Grade 1 certification within the first year is mandatory.
JW Water is seeking a dependable and motivated Water Distribution Technician to join our team. This position supports the operation and maintenance of water treatment facilities and distribution systems. Responsibilities include system maintenance and repairs, meter reading, water-quality sampling, and compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and a willingness to learn. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
ADEQ Grade 1 Water Treatment and/or Water Distribution certification must be obtained during the first year of employment.
