About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Designer to join our creative studio, helping us support household names with the scale to be seen, and the stand-out to be selected. You might be a seasoned Senior, or an ambitious midweight with more to give.

You’ll be a key senior figure in the team, sitting under our Creative Director. You’ll create master assets, digital identities and campaigns that translate striking ideas into high quality, multi-format content. Working closely with our Senior Creative, junior creatives & an extensive freelance roster to turn them into scalable, distinctive creative worlds.

You’ll also lead on some of our retained client relationships, support new business, and help own a talented freelance & production network.

What you will do

• Work with our CD to lead on client relationships, pitching and new business as the face of execution

• Develop campaign concepts, design systems and asset frameworks in collaboration with our Senior Creative

• Produce high-quality hero assets across video, motion, animation, OOH and digital

• Comfortable using image & video generation tools to explore variations, treatments and visual directions

• Produce “toolkit-ready” master files for automation and AI-assisted workflows

• Build, manage and own the relationships with strong freelancers & an external creative roster – pulling in the right skillsets in to live projects as and when we need it

• Maintain visual excellence across rapid-turnaround environments

• Proactively push our projects where possible, spotting upsell opportunities or areas where we can drive extra business value for our clients

• Support our CD in developing the vision and strategic direction of the department

• Own the new Journey Further & Saulderson Media internal brands

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Designer in agency roles – either as a Senior or a few years as a Midweight

• Strong visual design, motion and digital-first portfolio

• Ability to build scalable design frameworks – you know what core elements every campaign needs, and how they’re deployed across various channels & media types

• Solid experience with generative design tools (e.g. Midjourney, Weavy, Figma plugins)

• Ability to work across multiple formats (motion, static, social, digital, OOH)

• Experience pitching for and winning new business & managing client relationships

• Fire in your belly & a passion to be part of what comes next for our industry

Location

All of our Creative team are based in Leeds and this would be our preferred choice of office location for the role. However, if you were based in Manchester we can definitely explore this as an option. (x2 days a week in the office).
