Responsible for preparing, welding, and finishing metal parts according to customer drawings and specifications. Duties include aligning components using jigs and performing quality inspections to ensure conformance.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and twelve months of welding experience or a professional certificate. Candidates must pass an internal math assessment and weld test.

SUMMARY: Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer’s drawings, specifications, and requirements.
