To install, repair and maintain production equipment, buildings and facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties
may be assigned
- Installs, sets up and maintains mechanical and electrical equipment
as directed and assists others with electrical equipment.
- Installs, operates, maintains, tests and locates trouble on all types
of AC & DC equipment, including lubrication and periodic servicing.
- Possesses a working knowledge of mechanical and electrical
drawings. Diagnosis and employs the proper procedures for the
relief of trouble.
- Works on equipment independently as the situation requires.
- Determines when parts need replacement ,and repairs are
necessary.
- Possesses and uses knowledge of Plant Electrical Distribution
System and power requirements.
- Starts, stops, maintains and helps install plant utilities and
production equipment.
- Dismantles and assembles electrical motors and allied equipment.
Repairs, replaces, cleans, and paints parts.
- Possesses a working knowledge of the following equipment.
i. Arc and gas welding and cutting equipment.
ii. Power tools such as drill press, cut-off saw, and portable
power tools.
iii. Hand tools of the mechanical and electrical trades.
iv. Hoisting equipment.
10.Skilled in the use of electrical testing equipment commonly used in
an industrial plant, such as ammeters and voltmeters.
- Working knowledge of electrical codes.
- Working knowledge of programmable controllers.
- Possesses the necessary tools of the trade.
- Works directly under and assists the Electro-Mech Tech & the
Maintenance Supervisor when require.
- Performs other miscellaneous jobs as directed.
- Operates mobile and hoisting equipment in performance o E&R
work.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES - State closeness of supervision, control
by policy or procedure, direction of others.
Works within JM Eagle guidelines and policies of JM Eagle Manufacturing.
Follows guidelines and directives supplied by Supervisor.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS
Electrical and mechanical experience, complete capability to read and make
mechanical and electrical drawings. Good knowledge of electrical codes.
4+ years experience in maintenance repairs.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE -describe education and experience
needed to perform the above.
High School or equivalent education.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and
maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine
reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of
customers or employees of organization.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in
situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety
of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

and standard operation indicators.
- Sight capabilities to identify accuracy and neatness of required job
assignments.

requirements for inspecting pipe.
- Balancing to maintain body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking,
standing or crouching in all areas to inspect products and raw materials.
- Ability to verbally communicate either face to face or via telephone with
other fellow employees to accomplish all assigned job requirements.
- Hear and understand all verbal communication whether it be face to face
or via telephone.
- See and understand all written communication.
- Climb and descend all ladders or steps whether fixed or portable on
company facilities in order to inspect pipe and raw materials.
- Lift up to 70 lbs. And carry up to 30 ft.
- Push and or pull up to 2500 lbs. Up to 30 ft. with the aid of material
handling equipment.
- Walking through, under and around equipment with a clearance of 3011
- Ability to grasp tools (manual as well as powered) and use them in
accordance with a safe working manner so as not to injure yourself or
fellow employees. I.E. power saws, drills, hammers, presses, latches etc.
- Sight capability to safely operate at arms length machinery and power
and or hand tools needed to accomplish the requirement of the job
assignments for this position.
