Waterzuiveringsinstallaties moeten tegenwoordig voldoen aan steeds strengere kwaliteitseisen, wat betekent dat moeilijk afbreekbare stoffen, waar vroeger nog geen eisen voor waren, nu ook verwijderd moeten worden. Omdat deze stoffen vaak in lage concentraties voorkomen, is de meest effectieve plek voor verwijdering vaak aan het einde van het zuiveringsproces.
Binnen deze stage ga je onderzoeken hoe deze stoffen het beste verwijderd kunnen worden. Denk hierbij aan technieken zoals oxidatieve reacties, membraantechnologie, adsorptie of andere alternatieve methoden. Je werkt een procesontwerp uit en voert laboratoriumtesten uit om je keuzes te onderbouwen.

JBT Marel Water Treatment is gespecialiseerd in het ontwerpen, vervaardigen en installeren van systemen voor de zuivering van industrieel afvalwater, vooral in de voedingsmiddelenindustrie.
