Jasmax is looking for a Bid Lead who wants to play closer to the front of the action: shaping pursuit strategy, challenging assumptions, and helping senior teams win the work that defines our next chapter across Aotearoa New Zealand and Australia. Based in Auckland, Sydney or Melbourne, you’ll bring clear judgement, pace and sharp commercial instinct to complex opportunities across architecture, interiors, landscape and urban design, turning great thinking into bids that cut through.

The Role:

Own the strategic thinking behind Jasmax's most significant pursuits and help drive the next chapter of our growth across Australasia. You'll work closely with senior leaders to shape win strategy, bring sharp commercial judgement to pricing, risk and positioning decisions, and lead the bid process that turns that thinking into a compelling submission.

You'll bring a strong, well-informed point of view to every conversation. Communicating it tactfully, backing it with confidence under pressure, and staying genuinely open to what others bring to the table. This is a role within a wider strategic team, measured on its impact on Jasmax's growth ambition.

In this role, you will:

• Work with Principals to strategically position Jasmax for significant projects, leading the upfront strategy and end-to-end bid process.
• Lead the development of win themes that shape our business development activity and carry through into every submission, tailored to each client and what sets Jasmax apart.
• Bring an independent, critical eye to pricing, risk and commercial assumptions.
• Keep teams focused, coordinated and on track to meet critical deadlines, from planning through to submission.
• Partner with technical teams and stakeholders to produce engaging, client-focused content, aligned to the Jasmax brand and values.
• Take part in client debriefs, sharing insights that sharpen how we bid, price and position ourselves.
• Support the Head of Business Development with wider BD initiatives as directed, contributing to Jasmax's growth ambition alongside your bid work.

Attributes, Skills and Experience:

• 7 years+ relevant work experience in a similar bid role within a multi-disciplinary professional services organisation.
• A track record of leading complex, high-value bids end-to-end, from early strategy and positioning through to writing and production.
• A highly collaborative style, with confidence engaging stakeholders across all levels of the practice.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with sharp attention to detail and the ability to craft clear, persuasive content.
• Resilience, flexibility and agility, with strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capability.
