This position is for Mozambique LNG project.
Job Description
Participate to the process of Contracts and Procurement entity by performing the following tasks:
Work closely with the DUET to create the contracts dossier, develop a clear definition of contractual responsibilities and discuss the agenda including:
Development of Contracting Strategy and issue Call for Tenders to find suitable expertise to support the different functions
Negotiation and analysis of commercial bids
Development of Recommendations To Award (RTA)
Ensure that all insurance issues of client assets and personnel are dealt with
Manage his/her performance by monitoring KPIs Ensure the update of the contract management tool
Keep informed of best practices in contracts procedures in other entities for improvement of contracts practices
Use existing frame agreements
Prepare and maintain an up-to-date list of qualified contractors/suppliers/potential tenders/contracts with updated information in order to perform market studies; analyze and assess all possible answers from the market
Development of Contracting Strategy and issue Call for complex Tenders to find suitable expertise to support the different functions
Establish the technical contracts and contractual agreements, directly participate to the most complex contracts
Conduct the commercial bid analysis and negotiation thereby creating a clear definition of responsibilities and documents
Take the leading role in Recommendation To Award (RTA) through Contracts Committee/DOA with common recommendation
Ensure the handover of contracts to the Partners’ Entities and monitor contractor’s performance
Assist C&P management in the settlement of claims and lawsuits, in relation with the Legal, Insurance, Finance and client Management by proposing strategies and actions and participating to the negotiations
Ensure monitoring on-going contracts status, participate in contract renewal and amendments discussions
Qualifications
Advanced Contracts and Procurement Technical Competencies required
- C&P tools advanced certification required
- Good command of English language
Diploma: Master
Professional experience: 10-15 years (Minimum 2 years in technical contracts domain) with exposure on operations
Personal Abilities: Advanced Management, Advanced Human Relations, Problem Solving and Planning / organizing / coordinating / controlling. Excellent negotiation skills. Understanding of core operational activities and capability to handle different cross branch issues.
Mandatory capacity to train newly recruited C&P personnel with C&P Induction.
