The Phlebotomist is responsible for the accurate collection and handling of patient laboratory specimens using various techniques like venipuncture and capillary puncture. They must also maintain laboratory compliance, ensure safety standards, and provide professional patient care in a fast-paced medical environment.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least six months of phlebotomy experience or relevant training. The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to navigate computer systems, and the physical capability to assist patients and handle equipment.
Rotating schedule working every other Saturday. Schedule will be Monday- Friday 7:30am- 1:30pm 1 week and the next week will be Monday-Thursday 7:30am- 1:30pm and Saturday 8am-12:30pm. Training will take place in Provo, caregiver must have reliable transportation.
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
