About the Role:
The Warehouse Operator plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of materials within a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting production schedules. The Warehouse Operator ensures that all warehouse activities comply with safety regulations and company policies, contributing to a safe and organized work environment. By managing the flow of materials, this role directly impacts production efficiency and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, physically capable, and committed to maintaining high standards of operational excellence.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts (certification preferred).
Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
Forklift operator certification.
Experience with warehouse management software (WMS).
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends or overtime as needed.
Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and accurately document incoming materials and products.
Organize and store inventory in designated locations to optimize space and accessibility.
