We are looking for a Junior Indirect Procurement Buyer in Marketing & Communication to handle specific, significant spend sub categories (such as gadget, print materials, signs and related services) across the illycaffè.
The responsibilities will include processing purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers (both commercially and contractually), tracking orders, managing the supplier accreditation, qualification & evaluation and leading all RFP activities, to ensure that savings targets are met, risk is understood and managed, and supplier performance meets or exceeds business needs.
What will you do as a Junior Indirect Procurement Buyer?
Support the implementation of category-specific supply strategies, lead select strategic sourcing activities and help to build supplier relationship management programs through the use of the Procurement Portal.
Develop strong category expertise in marketing sourcing and understands the supply market.
Redline and amend contracts ensuring legal adequateness, implement contracts and capture them in the system; support contracting discussions, negotiations and contract creation process.
Ensure uninterrupted and efficient flow of services by providing operational support as needed.
Assist team lead with ensuring compliance with the category strategies and sourcing projects, taking into consideration Procurement Policy, Guidelines as well as legal requirements.
Help support value generation for the business through better strategizing, structuring and organizing the supply of the assigned categories, including selecting the “right” supplier base.
Provide manager with recommended KPI and other supplier performance metrics.
Work with team lead to execute category-specific supplier relationship management strategies, maintaining oversight of key strategic suppliers in close alignment with stakeholders such as Marketing, Sales, Brand and Finance. Plans and conducts low-to-medium complexity sourcing projects, such as Requests for Proposal (RFPs) or Tenders on a global, regional or local level, engaging stakeholders and the required cross-functional resources.
Requirements
Master's degree in economics
1 year in working experience in Procurement and/or Marketing specific, preferably within a structured organization
Experience with data analysis and ability to effectively use ERP and business management systems
Planning/organizational skills
Negotiation aptitude
Ability to collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders and ecosystem partners
Fluent in English
