Design and develop multi-fiber module packaging, including enclosures, mounting, and sealing for fiber optic devices. Lead the process from simulation and material selection through to manufacturing transfer and failure analysis.
Requires a BS or MS in Telecom, optomechanical engineering, physics, or a related field with at least 2 years of experience. Proficiency in SolidWorks and a multidisciplinary background in optics and mechanical engineering are preferred.
All employees are required to attend scheduled trainings, and to follow site EHS procedures and Corporate EHS standards. This includes the use of proper protective equipment (PPE) as required by the job responsibilities.
Managers will ensure that all safety and environmental procedures are followed consistently. They will ensure that risk assessments are performed, proper training, work instructions, required PPE is available, and will monitor compliance.
