Responsible for the review and analysis of patient records to assign accurate ICD-10-CA/CCI codes. Ensures all visits are abstracted according to CIHI standards and hospital policy to maintain monthly balances.
Requires graduation from an accredited Health Information Management program and CHIMA certification. Preference is given to candidates with 2-3 years of NACRS ER coding experience and knowledge of Meditech systems.
