Job Overview
The Concur Processor/Auditor is responsible for reviewing, auditing, and processing employee travel and expense reports in SAP Concur to ensure compliance with company policies, contractual agreements, and regulatory requirements. This role plays a critical part in maintaining expense integrity, supporting timely reimbursement, and identifying opportunities for policy improvement and cost control.
A Day In The Life
Expense Processing & Auditing
Review, audit, and approve or reject expense reports in SAP Concur in alignment with T&E policies
Validate receipts, supporting documentation, and accurate expense type/GL coding
Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
Identify and escalate non-compliant, duplicate, or potentially fraudulent transactions
Policy Compliance & Controls
Apply T&E policies consistently across business units
Monitor trends, recurring issues, and policy violations
Recommend policy clarifications and control enhancements
Support internal and external audits related to T&E activity
Employee & Stakeholder Support
Respond to employee inquiries on expense submissions, policy interpretation, and system use
Provide guidance and training to promote accurate and compliant expense reporting
Partner with Finance, AP, Travel, and Procurement teams to resolve issues
Reporting & Analysis
Support reporting, metrics tracking, and variance analysis
Monitor approval cycle times, error rates, and compliance trends
Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities, including accruals
System & Process Support
Participate in system enhancements, testing, and upgrades within Concur
Drive continuous process improvements to increase efficiency and compliance
Support special projects as required
Qualifications
High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
4+ years of experience in T&E processing or auditing
Hands-on experience with SAP Concur (Expense required; Travel/Invoice a plus)
Strong knowledge of T&E policies and compliance frameworks
