Direct and supervise stevedores while monitoring loading and unloading sequences to ensure safety and productivity standards are met. Resolve personnel issues and coordinate operations between internal departments, customers, and vendors.
Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and possess strong leadership and computer skills. Vessel experience is preferred, and the ability to obtain a TWIC card is required.
Job Description & Duties:
Candidates must be able to work in a fast paced, drug free environment. Candidates will have to direct, supervise, and assign work to stevedores. Candidates will also monitor loading and unloading sequences to meet all safety and productivity standards, monitor employee attendance, and resolve personnel issues.
