Lead and coordinate projects from pre-design through closeout, including the preparation of contract documents and project schedules. Manage team members, consultants, and vendors while nurturing client relationships to meet deliverable deadlines.

Requires at least 2 years of experience in Interior Architecture and proficiency in CAD and Autodesk Revit. A Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design is preferred, along with knowledge of building codes and design standards.

As we continue our growth into Arizona, we're looking for a Job Captain/Designer to join our new Phoenix office. This is a unique opportunity to help shape Hendy's presence in a growing market while working alongside an established and highly creative team. The ideal candidate is an innovative thinker with strong design and space planning experience, technical expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead projects from pre-design through project closeouts
  • Prepare contract documents
  • Attend site walks to conduct site verifications and update backgrounds
  • Attend client meetings (virtually and / or in-person)
  • Ability to work efficiently and willingness to learn and train junior staff
  • Prepare project schedules and work plans
  • Manage team members, consultants, and vendors on projects of varying size, scope, and complexity
  • Cultivate and nurture all client relationships
  • Work in conjunction with Project Manager to meet scheduled deliverable deadlines


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in the field of Interior Architecture
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design preferred
  • Strong organization skills
  • Strong proficiency in CAD, Autodesk Revit systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • LEED and WELL accreditation a plus, as we are committed to the principles of sustainable design and resilient communities
  • Knowledge of building codes and a strong understanding of design standards
  • Attention to detail and accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess strong and engaging communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas in interviews and other presentations
