Perform substation design tasks including CADD design, modeling, and the preparation of engineering drawings and material lists. Support engineers by performing calculations and reports for low, medium, and high voltage substation systems.
Requires technical proficiency in 3D design software, Microsoft Office, and a basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts. Experience in high voltage substation design and familiarity with AutoCAD or MicroStation is preferred.

HDR Engineering is looking for a Substation Design Technician to join our growing and nationally ranked team of Power Delivery professionals in our Substation group.
The successful candidate will be a part of a team that provides designer support for large and small scale substation engineering projects. This is an excellent growth opportunity for a self-directed individual who wants to learn and take on new challenges.
