About the Position
Our relationship banking representatives are vital to the customer experience at our branch locations throughout Oahu, Maui, and the Island of Hawaii. This position requires providing great customer service and building lasting connections through daily transactions and conversations. Relationship banking representatives will have the opportunity to work and interact with staff from nearly all departments of the bank. This position lays a solid foundation for further advancement and opens a door of possibilities for upward movement within the branch or to other departments within the company.
Details
Establishes and maintains excellent business and retail customer relations.
Provides a variety of customer service functions, including processing transactions, handling cash, and the opening/closing of accounts, among other duties and responsibilities.
Educates customers about various bank products and services, handles inquiries on retail banking, electronic banking, and business services.
Works with other departments within the bank to better service customers and refer to appropriate departments as needed.
Provides services in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
Skills & Qualifications: Good number skills and mathematical ability; accurate typing; basic computer knowledge; ability to communicate effectively; work under pressure and meet deadlines
Other Desired Skills: Six months cash-handling experience; 10-key by touch
