The X-ray Technologist is responsible for producing diagnostic radiographic examinations by positioning patients and operating specialized equipment. They also handle administrative duties, maintain X-ray room supplies, and ensure patient safety following ALARA principles.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. Required certifications include ARRT, a NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology, and BLS HCP certification.
