You will design, implement, and run AC and DC power flow simulations to help utilities manage modern dynamic electricity grids. This involves developing scalable software for grid modeling, forecasting, and solving complex network optimization problems.
Candidates must have deep expertise in power flow calculations and strong data science foundations including statistical modeling and algorithm design. A minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, electrical engineering, or optimization roles is required along with proficiency in Python.
You will design, implement and run the AC and DC power flow simulations that allow utilities to understand and manage modern dynamic electricity grids. Your solutions will make it possible to efficiently manage grid constraints and resources, to forecast grid state into the future, and to assess connection applications for new renewables projects in record time.
