The cashier is responsible for operating the point of sale system, managing transactions, and maintaining a welcoming environment for customers. The salad bar attendant handles the setup, maintenance, and breakdown of the salad bar along with light kitchen preparation duties.
Candidates must possess a friendly attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a background in customer service or hospitality. Physical requirements include the ability to walk for up to 8 hours and lift up to 30 pounds, and a Food Handlers Permit is required.

Great Western Dining at our MCC Blue River Campus is looking for a cashier. The cashier is responsible for operating the cash register or Point of Sale Station (POS), including cash and credit card transactions.
This position is responsible for setup, refill, & breakdown of the salad bar. This includes light kitchen duties such as chopping vegetables, washing containers, & being familiar with the storage areas.
