The Order Selector is responsible for accurately and efficiently picking customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This includes using Vocollect technology and operating electric pallet jacks to palletize products.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and prior warehouse experience, with a preference for one year of experience in order selecting and pallet jack operation. The role requires the ability to lift up to 55 pounds and work in freezer, cooler, and dry environments.

Thurston Foods has been Family Operated since 1947 in Wallingford, Connecticut. Today, Thurston Foods, Inc. is a full line, full service, institutional distributor and bakery supplier. Our product line ranges from fresh meats and produce to cleaning supplies and kitchen equipment. In total, we inventory over 6,000 different items.
We currently have over 3,000 customers consisting of schools, bakeries, restaurants, caterers, hospitals, government agencies and convalescent homes. POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position is a critical support role for the Warehouse Team. The Order Selector will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting orders in a timely manner.
