The Medical Assistant is responsible for registering patients, verifying insurance, and preparing them for examinations by recording medical history and performing vital signs. They also conduct point-of-care testing and assist providers with clinical procedures while maintaining exam rooms and medical records.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of relevant clinical experience or a recognized medical assistant certification. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required at the time of hire.

Healthcare professionals such as Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), Paramedics, and PCTs with healthcare backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
