GMF Steel Group is seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Representative to join our team. The Business Development Representative plays a key role in our continued growth by developing meaningful client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to high-impact projects. An ideal candidate is one who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated to make an impact.
Responsibilities:
Build key relationships to provide excellent customer service
Create a personal network and represent the organization at trade events
Manage project bidding opportunities that are received through online platforms
Communicate and coordinate with the sales team regarding upcoming projects, pre-bid meetings, and bid submittals
Assist in bid submittals
Enter data and manage Salesforce CRM
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Business, or similar
2+ years in outside sales
Willingness to travel weekly
High energy and competitive
Attention to detail
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills required
Confidentiality
Proficiency in suite of Microsoft Office programs and applications
Salary:
$62,000 - $70,000
Dependent upon experience
