The specialist drives process optimization and innovation within the Contract Logistics organization by identifying improvement opportunities and creating business cases. They are responsible for implementing approved changes, managing test trajectories (SIT/UAT), and ensuring compliance with QSE/ISO standards.
Candidates need a relevant bachelor's degree or at least 3 years of relevant experience in the logistics sector. Proficiency in process optimization, project management, and fluency in Dutch and English are required.
Wordt jij onze nieuwe Business Improvement Specialist?
Wij zijn op zoek naar een enthousiaste Business Improvement Specialist, hier ben jij de drijvende kracht achter procesoptimalisatie en innovatie binnen onze Contract Logistics-organisatie. Je brengt kansen in kaart, analyseert en verbetert processen en zorgt voor succesvolle implementatie van verbeteringen. Zo draag jij direct bij aan efficiëntere operaties, tevreden klanten en duurzame groei.
Signaleren en initiëren van verbeterkansen samen met interne stakeholders.
Opstellen en presenteren van heldere business cases (incl. scope, analyse, ROI).
Implementeren van goedgekeurde verbeteringen binnen de operatie.
Begeleiden van veranderingstrajecten en zorgen voor een soepele overgang.
Actief deelnemen aan implementatieprojecten voor nieuwe en bestaande klanten.
Opzetten, uitvoeren en begeleiden van testtrajecten (SIT, UAT) en fungeren als eerste aanspreekpunt voor operatie, IT en klant.
Vastleggen van testresultaten, ondersteunen bij het opstellen van werkinstructies en verzorgen van trainingen.
Bieden van eerstelijnsondersteuning na go-live van nieuwe processen of systemen.
Samenwerken met Operations en IT bij het vertalen van business requirements naar werkbare oplossingen.
Borgen van kwaliteit, veiligheid en compliance volgens QSE/ISO-normen (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 22000).
Werken bij een wereldspeler in logistiek met volop ontwikkelmogelijkheden.

Ervaring met Office-toepassingen.
Kennis van GEODIS core applicaties is een pré.
Aantoonbare ervaring met procesoptimalisatie en verbeterprojecten.
Ervaring met projectmatig werken.
Voor indiensttreding lever je (als je Nederlandse nationaliteit hebt) een Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag (VOG) aan, opgevraagd bij jouw gemeente (meestal digitaal via een profiel van GEODIS). Heb je een andere nationaliteit, dan lever je een soortgelijk document aan, afgegeven door de bevoegde autoriteiten in jouw land van herkomst.

Nauwkeurig in het ontvangen en vastleggen van relevante informatie.
