Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for water and wastewater treatment projects. Analyze estimate data, solicit subcontractor proposals, and communicate bid information to field operations.
Requires 2+ years of construction estimating experience, preferably in water, wastewater, or industrial markets. A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management is preferred but not required.
An Estimator position is available at Garney. This is a full-time, salaried position with full benefits and participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). We are seeking a self-motivated individual to join our growing Estimating Team. To be considered for this position, you must have previous estimating experience, preferably in the water, wastewater, or industrial markets. Candidates with proven experience estimating heavy civil earthwork, cast-in-place concrete structures, underground yard piping, and/or above-grade process piping systems. Estimating experience with at-risk self-performing contracts is preferred over construction manager at-risk delivery methods.
