Who You Are
You maintain the highest standards of cleanliness during the whole cooking process.
You have experience in a high-volume professional kitchen and are able to accurately follow recipes.
You are familiar with traditional cooking methods and also modern techniques such as sous-vide and rational combi ovens (our main source of cooking is done using this oven).
What You'll Be Doing
Preparing proteins, sides and sauces for a variety of Ready to Eat products for a direct to consumer delivery business.
Following recipes and HACCP standards as directed by the Executive Sous Chef / Senior Sous Chef.
Be fully accountable for all product quality, taste, presentation as well as on time, and in full order fulfillment within a CFIA registered facility.
What We Are Looking For
Culinary Diploma required; Red Seal Certification preferred.
Two (2) years of kitchen experience or equivalent in a high-volume food production environment.
Valid Food Safety Certification.
Experience in banquet or catering services strongly preferred.
Organized and efficient in food production and processing.
A problem solver’s mentality; you see problems as opportunities and see the benefit of doing things differently.
Strong communication skills, ability to adjust your communication style to different audiences, relay information clearly and concisely.
Able to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and timely execution.

Hourly Wage: $21.98
Shift Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 7:30 AM-3:30 PM
