We currently have an exciting Relief Part Time opportunity for a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at St. Paul's Hospital located in Vancouver, BC. This relief role is available until November 2026 or until return of incumbent.

Detailed Overview

Under the general supervision of the Coordinator, Pharmacy Services or designate, assists with medication dispensing by measuring, non-sterile compounding, packaging, and distributing medications. Maintains stock levels, and performs clerical duties as assigned.

ResponsibilitiesQualifications

Education, Training and Experience

Grade 12, graduation from a recognized Pharmacy Assistant course or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to deal with others effectively.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
• Ability to type.
• Ability to organize work.
• Ability to operate related equipment.
