Assist the Captain in the safe operation and navigation of harbor tugs during ship assist and towing maneuvers. Direct deck operations and coordinate with pilots, terminal personnel, and crew to ensure efficient vessel performance.
Requires a valid USCG Merchant Mariner Credential, TWIC, and USCG Medical Certificate. A Mate of Towing Vessels endorsement and experience in harbor or escort towing operations are preferred.
