Assist in the installation, qualification, and troubleshooting of automation and material handling systems to improve throughput and yield. Maintain process control, execute experiments, and provide technical training to production associates.
Requires a high school diploma and either an associate degree in a technical field or relevant machine/mechanic experience. Candidates must possess general electrical and mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform physical tasks in a manufacturing environment.
Basic Job Functions:
Assist in the installation and qualification of systems, troubleshoot day-to-day manufacturing issues, identify and/or implement system improvements that contribute to the achievement of throughput, yield and product performance goals. Primary initial responsibilities will focus on material handling & automation equipment. Cross-training and equipment responsibility on other Manufacturing Engineering process tools may also occur.
