The RN is responsible for the assessment, planning, and delivery of nursing care for interventional and diagnostic patients in the Care Suites. This includes monitoring patients receiving sedation and managing pre- and post-procedure care for cardiovascular and radiology patients.
Requires an active MN RN License, BLS, ACLS, and at least 2 years of experience in Critical Care, CICU, or IMC. A BSN and experience with moderate sedation or PCI sheath removal are preferred.

About this Unit:
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work in the care suites unit? If so, then this might just be the position for you! Our Care Suites include Pre-Post Cath Lab and Radiology/ Imaging and other cardiovascular patients. Will perform comprehensive nursing assessments on interventional and diagnostic patients included under the radiology/cardiovascular care umbrella. Pre and Post procedure care responsibilities encompass a wide range of radiology diagnostic and interventional procedures including, but not limited to heart caths, PTCR, arterial angiograms, electrophysiology studies, and a wide range of radiologic diagnostic and interventional procedures. Nursing responsibilities also include monitoring patients receiving sedation in a variety of settings. Primary population is adults with some pediatrics.
Schedule: This is a .9 FTE (72 hours every two weeks), day/evening position, 8 hour shifts with weekends as needed.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.
