The technician is responsible for performing refrigeration and boiler maintenance and assisting other shift personnel. Key duties include conducting equipment repairs, routine audits, and inspections while maintaining professional communication with operations.
Candidates must have or be able to obtain RETA certification and demonstrate strong safety leadership and troubleshooting abilities. Comprehensive industrial maintenance experience in three or more specialized technical areas is required.
Boiler/Refrigeration Technician
The Refrigeration/Boiler Technician will perform the duties of a Refrigeration/Boiler Technician and assist other maintenance personnel on their shift.
Position Responsibilities:
· Have or be able to attain RETA certification
· Demonstrate strong safety leadership skills and follow safe work practices
· Work as part of a team to plan and conduct equipment repairs
· Conduct routine audits and equipment inspections
· Demonstrate troubleshooting abilities
· Maintain open and professional line of communication with operations
· Industrial maintenance experience should include comprehensive knowledge in three or more of the following areas:
o RETA Certification
o Ammonia Refrigeration
o Engine & Boiler systems
o Electricity & motor controls
o Controls & instrumentation
o PLC/software & hardware
o Pneumatics & Hydraulics
o Mechanical systems
o Predictive/Predictive maintenance
