Manage Emergency Department admissions, consults, and direct admissions. Coordinate with the One Call/Hospital Supervisor team to handle transfers from outlying facilities.
Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Family Medicine candidates require at least one year of Hospitalist experience or completion of a fellowship.
Our Ideal Candidate: An adaptable, collaborative, team-player, looking to spend time with patients and provide top quality care.
Team Composition: Strong, collegial team atmosphere with 20 full-time hospitalists and NP support.
Hospital Information: 140 Beds; Closed ICU; 2 Admitting Services scheduled per day, 7 days per week
Responsibilities: Emergency Department admissions, consults and direct admissions. Additional responsibilities include working with our One Call/Hospital Supervisor team taking transfers from outlying facilities. No procedures required.
Work Schedule: 12 hour shifts – 24 weeks per year, flexible scheduling
Support: Specialty and 24/7 intensivist support
REQUIREMENTS
BC/BE Internal Medicine
BC/BE Family Medicine with a minimum of 1 year Hospitalist experience or completion of a Hospitalist fellowship.

Geography: Centrally located on the border of North Dakota & Minnesota.
Proximity: 3.5 hours west of Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Service Area: Regional service area includes 25 clinics and 5 hospitals.
COMPENSATION
$178.97/Hr. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
