In EY FS Ireland, we are expanding our Consulting practice and building our Technology Consulting team as a key component of our NextWave Strategy. NextWave is EY’s global strategy and ambition to deliver long-term value to clients, people and society. It is inspired by the way innovations spread through society. We are actively recruiting high achieving individuals with customer and digital platforms experience with an expertise in multi-channel technology-enabled transformation projects/programmes within Financial Services.

The Technology Resilience & Digital Risk team in FS Technology Consulting is a new and rapidly growing team.  We help our clients to master their digital risk and resilience landscape which in turn enables them to drive confidence in their technology.  We do this through a range of several different types of solutions and services such as for example resilience assessments.  We focus on Resilience, Digital and Cyber Governance Risk and Compliance, Third Party Risk Management, AI and Data Risk and Internal Audit technical SMR support.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining both externally and internally recognised technical expertise in a number of the following areas:

        -Operational Resilience;

        -IT and Cyber Risk Management/Transformation;

        -Digital Resilience;

        -IT Internal Audit technical SMR support;

        -Third-Party Risk Transformation;

        -AI & Data Governance, Risk Management and Compliance

• End to end leadership of client engagements, leading and coaching our team on both a day-to-day basis and as part of assignment delivery
• Leading out on business development activities (e.g. pursuits, proposals, events, thought leadership etc.).
• Identify, nurture and manage client relationships as part of our management team
• Effectively manage client-facing delivery teams
• Ensuring that risk management procedures and quality standards are observed throughout assignment delivery
• Fostering and developing strong networks (local, area, global) with key service line champions in the global firm

Skills and Attributes for Success

To qualify for the role, you must have: 

• Experience working in an IT risk and control environment at Director level or equivalent
• University graduate preferably from Computer Science/Information Technology background
• 10+ years of experience of consulting experience in Resilience or Operational/IT Risk Management or Cyber and with at least 2-3 years at management level.  Also experience in IT, project management, service delivery, regulatory etc. is of relevance.

Ideally, you will also have:

• Big 4 management experience and training
• Knowledge of relevant regulation and guidelines impacting the financial services industry in particular DORA, Operational Resilience, Outsourcing and Third-Party Risk Management
• Financial services industry experience, i.e. retail banking, insurance, funds, capital markets, payment processors etc.
• Knowledge and experience of emerging technology, FinTech, Cloud services and Cybersecurity
• Knowledge of relevant frameworks and standards (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001x, SOC 1/2/3, NIST, CSA CCM, COSO)
• CISA/CISSP/CISM/CRISC/CSX/COBIT qualification
