The technician will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial tractors and trailers at customer sites or via mobile road calls. They are also responsible for performing preventative maintenance, documenting repairs, and ensuring all equipment meets U.S. Department of Transportation safety standards.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience as a mobile diesel mechanic and possess strong diagnostic and repair skills. The role requires a motivated, professional individual capable of providing excellent customer service while adhering to safety and quality standards.
At Accelerated Fleet Services, we’re proud of how much we pay our team. Our average mechanics earn between $100k - $135K per year, (considering the hours worked versus the hours invoiced).
This position consists of 12-hour shifts and includes an on-call rotation. However, you'll also be assigned to designated customer sites each day, allowing you to maintain consistent hours while remaining available to respond to service calls as needed.
We pay you for every hour you invoice on a job, not just the hours you clock in.
This is called flag hours. So, the faster and better you work, the more you can earn.
