The AI Programmer will drive the development and maintenance of core AI systems and gameplay features for Fortnite Battle Royale. This involves collaborating with art and design teams to iterate on AI mechanics and optimizing systems across all supported platforms.
Candidates must have professional experience shipping AAA titles with a strong focus on AI systems and expert-level C++ skills. Proficiency in Behavior Trees, Finite State Machines, and pathfinding is required, along with a strong understanding of game design.

Epic Games is looking for an experienced AI Programmer to join the Fortnite Battle Royal AI team. We believe that the best gameplay experiences are driven by collaboration and iteration between gameplay programmers, designers, and artists. You will play a critical role in driving future gameplay AI features in Fortnite.
