The Senior UI Programmer will design and implement core UI features such as HUD widgets, minimaps, and interaction menus using a systemic approach. They will collaborate with artists, designers, and backend developers to ensure UI functionality meets aesthetic and technical requirements across the Fortnite ecosystem.
Candidates must possess exceptional C++ skills and significant experience developing online multiplayer games or real-time interactive technology. Proficiency in Unreal Engine is preferred, along with a strong ability to balance technical tradeoffs with great user experiences.

We are a new and growing team at Epic, aiming to build innovative new experiences and technology. As a Senior Ui Programmer, you will play a critical role on a small and focused team. You will be responsible for core Ui features and supporting collaborative development between programmers, designers, and artists. You will have opportunities to work on various initiatives, get hands-on with cutting-edge technologies, and work with talented internal and external teams, all while building impactful experiences from concept to delivery.

The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).
