The Quality Engineer I is responsible for maintaining AS9100 certification, performing internal audits, and managing non-conformance systems. They will also collect and analyze data for SPC projects and support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment.
A two-year technical degree in Quality or Statistical Analysis is required, though a four-year degree in Engineering or Statistics is preferred. Experience in the metals industry and familiarity with AS9001, ISO 17025, and Nadcap standards are highly desired.
