  • Ensure programs are delivered in safe, inclusive, welcoming, and culturally responsive environments.
  • Strengthen collaboration and referral pathways across the organization to support the holistic needs of newcomer individuals and families.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, schools, recreation providers, funders, volunteers, and other stakeholders to enhance program opportunities and participant experiences.
  • Represent the organization at meetings, events, community engagement activities, and partnership initiatives.
  • Monitor program outcomes, participant feedback, and service trends to support evaluation, reporting, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with organizational and funder requirements.

What It Takes

  • Experience coordinating community-based programs and supporting effective program delivery.
  • Knowledge of youth development, community engagement, and participant-centered programming approaches.

  • Ability to collaborate across teams and support integrated service delivery.
  • Strong organizational, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong intercultural competence and ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to inclusion, equity, and community-centered service delivery.

What You Bring

  • Demonstrated ability to supervise staff and support team development.
  • Experience building and maintaining partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders.
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital tools used for program coordination and reporting.

Preferred / Asset Qualifications
