  • Drive continuous improvement in production performance, turning data and root-cause analysis into better processes and design. Monitor and improve process capability, assembly lines, first-pass yield, cycle time, and cost per unit.
  • Establish and maintain manufacturing documentation, such as process flows, pFMEAs, etc.
  • Review field complaints related to medical devices, and contribute to root-cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Plan and execute process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ), test method validations, and equipment qualifications in line with ISO 13485
  • Be the voice of manufacturing during product development to ensure products can be manufactured reliably and cost-efficiently (design-for-manufacturing, design-for-assembly).
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrialization or process development in the medical device industry (ideally in a controlled environment)
  • Knowledge of precision mechanical assembly
