The Clinical Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care by collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities include reviewing medication orders, monitoring pharmacokinetics, providing drug information, and educating patients on their treatments.
Candidates must hold a BS or Pharm.D. degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy and possess a current California Pharmacist License. At least two years of hospital pharmacy experience or completion of an ASHP-accredited residency is preferred.

As our Clinical Pharmacist, you will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care services to patients, working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and improve patient outcomes.
Every day, you will be responsible for medication order review, pharmacokinetic monitoring, drug information provision, patient education, and participation in clinical initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will review and verify medication orders for appropriateness, safety, and efficacy, considering patient-specific factors such as age, weight, renal function, and allergies; monitor serum drug concentrations and adjust dosages as needed to achieve therapeutic goals and minimize toxicity.
