The DSP provides individualized support with daily living activities, personal care, and meal preparation for adults with developmental disabilities. They foster independence and promote social inclusion by assisting individuals with community outings and life skills development.
Candidates must be empathetic and patient with strong communication skills. A valid NYS Driver's License held for at least 18 months with a clean driving history is required for the full pay rate.

The Role: As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities in their daily lives. You will work closely with them, assisting with daily living activities, fostering their independence, promoting their well-being, and helping them connect with their communities. This is a truly rewarding opportunity to build meaningful relationships and make a tangible difference. This position requires a valid NYS Driver's License for 18+ months with a clean driving history and succesfulk completion of Brightway Living & Learning's Transportation Orientation. New Hires that do not meet this criteria will be offered a lower rate, starting at $19.00/hour.
