Role Overview

You’ll own critical parts of our product experience across the frontend and backend, from user-facing workflows to APIs, databases, and core services. You’ll work closely with customers, product, and engineering to build fast, reliable, intuitive tools that solve real problems for auto repair shops.

  • Design and implement scalable APIs, services, and database models that power our products.

  • Create fast, intuitive, and reliable user experiences for repair shops and internal teams.

  • Work closely with customers and teammates to understand needs, iterate quickly, and improve product outcomes.

  • Own features end-to-end, from technical design through implementation, testing, launch, and production support.

  • Improve application performance, reliability, usability, and maintainability.

  • Collaborate with a lean team of talented engineers to ship quickly without sacrificing quality.

  • Measure, optimize, and iterate based on production metrics, customer feedback, and business needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years in software development.

  • Strong proficiency with TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.

  • Proficiency with Python and backend application development.

  • Experience building and maintaining production web applications.

  • Strong experience with Postgres databases.

  • Ability to design clean APIs, data models, and application architecture.

  • Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, Linux systems, and production operations.

  • Clear, proactive communication in a remote environment.

  • Product mindset and ownership, you care about outcomes, not just tasks.

Nice to Have

  • Experience building AI-powered or workflow-heavy products.

  • Experience with high-performance frontend applications and complex user interfaces.

  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code and DevOps practices.

  • Background in building integrations or working with third-party APIs.
