The Accounting Assistant supports the accounting team by processing invoices, managing accounts payable emails, and maintaining financial records. Additionally, the role involves administrative tasks such as sorting mail, greeting visitors, and assisting with general office duties.
Candidates should possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel. The ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively both independently and as part of a team is required.

This position is for the 2026-2027 academic year that will support the Accounting Office. The Assistant provides support to the accounting team while gaining valuable experience relating to higher education administration and accounting practices.
Tasks &Responsibilities:
The Assistant will work under the direction of the Staff Accountant with assistance and input from the entire accounting team.
